The trusty URUS II UNI and URUS II HLS Tower Yarder is still in production today, with over 500 units sold worldwide. They are built to last with some units from the 1960’s still in operation. With a low running cost per ton, and a skilled operator the URUS still makes for productive extraction on the steep slope. The URUS was exported across the globe to Indonesia, Canada, USA, Chile, Brazil, Uganda, Rwanda…. the list goes on. It is a great piece of heritage that we are proud of and continue to build upon. Yarding and winches on the steep slope have been our focus from the beginning. The URUS is available in truck mount or trailer mount.
