With safety and efficiency in mind, our first Shovel Yarder build took place in 2005 at our facility in South Africa, the goal was to work on eliminating the guyline anchors, due to limited anchor points and tight road space. We succeeded and the first Shovel Yarder built in South Africa was born. Today our Shovel Yarders have evolved, based on both technology and what Loggers want in-field. We offer a comprehensive line up of 2 and 3 drum units, which can be used as Highleads, Standing Skylines and Running Skylines. We custom build according to our clients needs, and with each build we gain more knowledge. Over the past 20 years we have built over 175 Shovel Yarders onto Komatsu, CAT, Kobelco, Sany, Doosan and Hitachi. As per client’s request, we do either a top mount or a rear mount kit.
